Game Map
We are playing a medium game across North Tyrol. For the purpose of the game only transit lines where VVT time-based tickets are valid are considered to exist. Leaving the borders of North Tyrol is only allowed for transit through Garmisch-Partenkirchen which is thus part of the game map. However, no stops outside of North Tyrol are legal hiding locations.
Valid hiding spots are all transit stations in North Tyrol with the following restrictions:
- the stations needs to get rail-bound service, or
- it needs to alternatively fulfill all of the following requirements:
- It needs to be in a settlement area (hiders should be reasonable about this), and
- there needs to be a bus stopping at least once every game hour (at least for the foreseeable round playtime) each, from the direction you arrived from and back, and
- it must not be part of a dead end (Innsbruck main stations needs to be rachable with a VVT-ticket without leaving the game map, excluding all road segments you traversed to get to the hiding location). This can most easily be checked with the linked OpenStreetMap tool.
The hiders can use some judgment to include reasonable hiding locations. The seekers can at any time and for free ask for clarification whether the hiders consider a station to be legal.
Movement is only allowed by foot or in a VVT-ticketed train or bus. For the purposes of the rules all trams are treated as trains.
The hiding zone is a 500m radius around the transit station you last exited public transit on after riding at least for one station. The station needs to be fixed when the hiding time ends with the hiders being physically inside its hiding zone. You are not allowed to leave the hiding zone during hiding even temporarily (e.g. for crossing a bridge).
One team member of the hiding team may leave the final hiding spot for taking pictures or setting up curses for a team that has not yet arrived at the hiding stop. In that case finding this team member does not count as finding the hiders. This situation should be avoided best as possible by pre-making all relevant pictures once the hiding zone is established and completing curse requirements as early as feasible.
The final hiding spot must not be in the woods or otherwise dense vegetation.
